A list of questions that we frequently get asked

Why do I only get 48 hours to pay for my accommodation?

This is a fast paced industry, and we cannot hold bookings indefinitely.  You can request an extension should you require it. We cancel any booking that is not secured by payment at 48 hours.

Why do I have to provide my Passport/ID documents?

There are various reasons for this request.  We require your identification in order to confirm that the correct people are staying in our apartments.

The security on the estate is very strict, to your benefit.  They require this information for their security purposes.

We request your documents before hand so that we can do all the necessary paperwork at security, ensuring a quick and smooth check in.

Why all the paperwork for the credit card payments?

Credit card fraud is a massive problem throughout the world.  Our industry experiences a very large amount of attempts from people trying to use stolen or cloned credit cards.

To protect you and us, our credit card companies require that the paperwork is completed by the rightful owner of the credit card, ensuring the safety of your money.

What do I do when I arrive?

We request that you call our Operations on call on 079 392 3019 to advise that you are either leaving the airport, or that you are 30 minutes away (self-drive). 

This ensures that you are met timeously at the estate security office to proceed with the check in process.

Directions for checking in:

On receipt of deposit for your reservation a confirmation email will be sent through which all includes all information regarding your booking, the estate along with directions.

Is there WiFi?

Yes, the majority of our properties have fast internet fibre connection, and it is free of charge! 

Do I get daily housekeeping servicing?

We offer Monday – Friday daily housekeeping services, which is included in your daily rate, unless otherwise stated.  We do offer weekend servicing, however, this is at an extra cost.

Our team do a general clean and tidy during your stay.  For longer stays than 3 days, we refresh the bedding and towels.

Can I park my car?

Each apartment has specific allocated parking bays.  The parking is secure and underground. There is no extra cost for the parking.

Is it safe?

The estate is a high end security estate.  There is a large team of security personnel who foot patrol the estate all day and night.  With camera’s throughout the development.

The security on the estate is very strict.  You will not be allowed access unless given by us, your agent.

In order to ensure the on-going security of the estate for permanent residents and visitors alike, any friends or guests you would like to invite to your apartment has to go through a strict security process, we require a minimum of 24 hours to arrange with the estate, and they must provide their identification.  It is of the utmost importance that we keep the estate a family friendly, safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment for all.

Can I have a party?

No.  Unfortunately not.  You may have a small gathering of friends, but this does need to be arranged well before the time, and at the securities discretion.

There is a maximum of 4 guests allowed per apartment.

Can I bring my pet?

No pets are allowed.

Can I have a braai/BBQ

As much as a braai is at the heart of every South African, no braai/BBQ’s are allowed on the estate.

Only our penthouse offers this with a gas braai.

Can I use the pools and gym facilities?

Yes. There are a number of pools situated around the development.  You are more than welcome to use any of them.  Please note that none of them are heated.

The gym is free to use for all our guests.

What is the Quarterdeck?

This is small café on the estate that serves breakfast and light lunches. The gym and one of the communal swimming pools are situated here.

Can I have access to the One and Only Hotel swimming pool?

No, unfortunately not. You can use all the facilities offered at the two nearby hotels such as resturant's and spa’s however the One and only pool is only for their paying guests.

Airport transfers  / Tours

We are able to assist with referring and reserving with our preferred tour companies.We do suggest that you let us know as much information on what you would like to see/do so that we can assist with the best possible options.

Arrival and Departure Times

Check in is at 14h00 and check out is at 10h00. Should you require alternative times for either your arrival or departure please ensure to discuss this with us to check availability and costs involved.
